via Starr King Trail
Trail Conditions: The trail was in good shape, no blow downs and well broken out. The lower third of the trail is snow free, but increases to good coverage by the top of Starr King. Icy sections were all soft and easy to get over. Between Starr King and Waumbek the snow is fairly deep. Did not see any tracks on the Killkenny Ridge trail.
Special Equipment: Used micro spikes for the snow covered portions, could have used snow shoes between the peaks but not required.

Bright blue skies and no wind, an excellent day for hiking.
