With Brutie at his 48 in 1 Winter celebration on C
Today, on the Mighty Tecumseh, John & June, also known as J&J, finished their journey of the Grid. Weather & company was fantastic ~

After ascending the Mt Tecumseh trail from the vacant ski resort parking area, and having the customary summit celebration (thank you Jessie for the group photo's!) the group crossed the Sosman Trail to the top of the ski area, where some crazy butt sliding on the ski trails took place

Congratulations to John & June !!!

**** The word from Hiker Ed is that they are finishers #16 & #17

congrats J&J - yay!!!! You guys did it!!!! I've had fun joining you guys on so many (really wish I could have been there....)!!!

Thanks to all who have joined us on so many of our hikes. The greatest part of our GRID journey has been the people we've shared so many fun times with. That's what it's all about. Thank you all!

Now for some pictures of our finale.

Our group for the day: Val, Larisa, Rick, Ed, John, June, Craig, Mark, Jeremy, Cath, Diane and Bill.

That's a good number.

We presented Ed with Coca-Cola pj's since Coke is the unofficial sponsor of the GRID.

Not everyone gets to celebrate a double GRID finish with an Easter Bunny on skis!

Rick, men in kilts should not be butt sliding!

Thanks also to Ben and Gary for their parking lot support and the pictures from our J-A-M hike.

A truly fun day where the smiles were non-stop.

Thank you all!!!!!

John & June

What, no one brought skis for the descent?

Congrats to J&J!

In mountaineering lore, the first 20 ascents of a new route are commonly known as "classics." Perhaps the same applies to the Grid?

Hearty congratulations to the first GRID couple!! :) :)
