Wild Boar Roadkill in New England

Posting here in case any New York folks care to "weigh in":

Wild boars (and/or feral hogs) are a problem in parts of the southern Apps, where there are breeding populations that disrupt bear and other habitat.
They dig up entire campsites/areas and (I'm told) even chew the cork off of fishing poles (?!).
No other New England cases reported, but what about the Catskills ?
Any Game Farm escapees ?
