Zealand area on Sept. 25th

a quick little TR from a hike last Sunday into Zealand...

The rough plan was to hike up the Lend-A-Hand Tr to the saddle b/w mt. Hale and the knob to the south, then explore down to the Zealand Tr.

up in the saddle....took a nice nap here...

then back down to ~3000', then off trail exploring...here's a nice moose rutting pit...

So, the foliage in the area is probably what is considered peak by now.
