Weather and Trail conditions
15 degrees, snowing lightly. All crossings were fine. Snow is very hard-packed and icy in spots. Any venture off trail results in chest deep post holes

Crampons and Snowshoes, full winter gear, maybe a machete to ward off branches

Eric Savage finished his winter fours on Mt Zealand. An epic battle with branches on the ridge. My W-45th. 19.5 miles with wanderings and 12 hours
