  • Thanks! It was alot of fun exploring that area. Needless to say, we didn't see anyone in the Dry River Wilderness all day!
My leg is 100% improved - yay! My hip is still a problem; I'm getting deep tissue and trigger point massage on some muscles (glutes, QL, Psoas) that connect my lumbar spine to my illiac crest and SI joint -- its like a Bermuda Triangle of Pain down there. After about 16-18 miles or so my lower back starts to feel compression and false steps cause radiating pain. So I try to be careful. I was so sore trying to sleep after that hike, I felt like my tailbone was stabbing me. But, in the morning, a walk, some hip flexor and back stretching; and two ibuprofens, and I was good as new. :)
