Ammo from Cog to Lakes Hut -- some patches of snow even below the Gem Pool, though nothing worrisome. Significant patches of snow from stream crosses to Alpine Zone sign. From the Alpine Zone sign onward, it is mostly snow, easy enough to walk on, but gaiters and/or long pants are recommended.
Monroe, Franklin, and Eisenhower Loops -- clear and dry
Crawford Path, Ike to Lakes -- mainly clear and dry; small section of snow as it skirts Monroe, and again as it passes Lakes of the Clouds.
Camel Trail, Davis Path (Camel to Crawford) -- clear and dry
Gulfside -- clear and mostly dry
Jewell Trail -- recent trail maintainence on blowdowns and water bars, very nicely done. A few insignificant patches of snow on the side of the trail.
No special equipment required, though gaiters and/or long pants would be useful for the snowy sections.
As you might guess, I had a long hike today, but the weather was gorgeous so I took advantage of it. The Cog was up and running; it was weird to see tourists up there again. I didn't moon it, though.
