The Dry River Trail was well broken out by a combination of snowshoe and XC-ski traffic. After crossing the suspension bridge, I only went a short distance before leaving the trail for a bushwhack. I could see that snowshoe tracks continued beyond the point where I left the trail, but obviously have no idea as to how far the trail might be broken out.
There were no issues with water crossings. There were a few minor blowdowns, but all were easy to negotiate in one manner or another.
For anyone interested, my BLOG contains a few photos and some narrative about my bushwhack exploration off the Dry River Trail.
