Trails are all nicely packed and fast. You could bare boot, microspike or snowshoe (televators for the steeps)(we left the snowshoes behind and glad we did). There were two, that came up the slide in bareboots (used the side of the slide and said they had no problems) and some that had camped at LSTS were in full crampons. Some drifting and new snow in the col. Not many views when we were there but it looked to be clearing later. Another great day out.
