    I am looking for an experienced ice climber to mentor me this winter.I have done a little,but i really want to do more and gain experience.The problem is no one i know does this sort of thing,so I am having trouble getting started.Is anyone willing to do this for me?

    I agree that it depends on the situation,although I have had hikers yield to me going up and down.I have found that when they yield to me going down it makes it easier on me rather than vice versa

    Sherp John, I did Mansfield a few weeks ago.I recommend a nice loop of Mansfield:Take Maple Ridge Trail to the summit of the "Forehead",then take the Cliff trail to the actual summit of Mansfield the "Chin".Head down the Sunset Ridge trail.This makes a scenic hike.Cliff Trail is worth...

    I would like to warn everyone about more car break-ins.I got nailed saturday night at mt clinton road parking lot.They did alot of damage to my car so everyone please keep your eyes open to this.These bastards must be caught!Any ideas?
