Nice report Jay. Great seeing you, Mudhook and Maria (Mudgirl), on Haystack. I found the Saddleback cliff much more frightening than the Gothics cables, but it was socked in Sunday on Gothics :( . I will post pictures and hopefully a report soon on my weekend trip.

Trail Conditions:the Heart Lake trail is a sheet of ice. rest of the trail is hard packed. down low some ice and some bare ground. High elevation up to 3' of snow, but very firm and supportive.
