What is your workflow in PSE?

I'm using the full version of Photoshop, but the work flow is probably similar. The first thing I ALWAYS do is open the images for the first time and save them in a sub directory/folder called "PSD's" and save them as a Photoshop document (.PSD). JPEG is a compressed format and every time...

Torn Meniscus and the High Peaks

I use the Cho-Pat knee strap. I have a replaced ACL and torn meniscus and as long as the pain stays in the front by your knee cap this will work well. 2 years ago I had a meniscus related relapse that was really bad. I was going down a flight of stairs and I suddenly had a feeling of a...

Suggestions for Backpack for Photo Equipment

I have my Canon EOS Rebel XT strapped across my chest the whole time I hike. Most of the time for quick snaps I just pull it up to my eye and shoot away. dealing with stray light from behind the subject

Photoshop: down and dirty Hey guys, don't get around much lately, but still play a lot with photoshop. First one is very easy. Used the Shadows/highlights filter set to 50% shadows, then did an auto-levels to color correct: This second yielded pretty much the same results but with more...

Did a quick color adjustment, reduced some noise and sharpened. Then cropped a bit... Don't know if this is what you meant, but here's what I got: another crop: Kevin

    Breaking Trail

If you're using Photoshop, change from RGB to LAB mode, then select the Lightness channel and sharpen that. This gives the best results. You can then convert back to RGB. Kevin
