    W115 done!

Congrats again you two and as Swanson said, welcome to the club! I wonder if any others will (or have) finish/ed this year. The six of us New Yorkers (well I am still at heart) is a lot, probably the most people to finish the W111 in the same year. We should all party..... :) Going to the 46er...

    Five of Maine's 4K's 2/10-2/11/13

I stand corrected. I should have made the over/under seven! Getting close....five hikes for seven peaks. Thanks for the kind words. I am actually a thirty year NY resident and just the past two in VT (had to live in the mountains, not just commute to them!).

    Five of Maine's 4K's 2/10-2/11/13

Won't bother with too many details, as the three of you who will read this know about these peaks and one of you was with me..... Sunday 2/10, JoeCedar and I had a great time on Saddleback and The Horn. Around zero degrees Fahrenheit at the start, sun was shining so bright that we were quite...

    Baxter State Park 1/5-1/8/13

They both are..... I should have added pictures from my fridge! Being good friends with John and Jen Kimmich (Alchemist), Shaun Hill (Hill Farmstead), Sean Lawson (Lawson's Finest Liquids) and many local bar owners to boot, I have become somewhat of a collector of beer. There is always...

Sawyer River Road walk for Carrigain condition ?

Road is all good; snow was mushy on Sunday 2/19 being in the sun all day coupled with the snowmobile traffic. He was fun to watch ride indeed. Were you in the group of five that was regrouping at the summer trailhead?

    Chillin' On Mount Cabot 2/13/12

Being one of the two aforementioned hikers (the other was JoeCedar), I can attest to the validity of your report! ;) Much warmer on Waumbek in the afternoon, and nowhere near as much wind. Some nice mountains up there in the north country; thanks for sharing your view of things!
