Don't worry for Pin Pin, if it is harder he will hike more day. This winter he rest for 43-44 days. Can it be possible to do the NH-3000 footers (175 summits) in one winter for the White rabbit with the help of Pin Pin and family?

This winter I used the ski slopes of many mountain and I don't had any problem: Saddleback-Maine Wildcat D- NH Suggarbush (twice) Killington I alway started before openning or after they close.

Lots of snow and no ice at all. It took us two hours to reach the summit from the junction with Lincoln brook trail. Since we were 3 of us and one need Owls Head to finish the 48 and the two others need it in the winter we work harder in the snow to reach the summit.

Do you try to find some new challenge for our friend Pin Pin after is retirement from work? NH 300 or NY 500 in a year can it be possible?

Next weekend I plan to hike those two from the road 112 to save some mileage. Someone know if the Oliverian trail and Passaconaway cutoff trail had been used recently? Thanks in advance.

Trail used: AT from the 27 all the way to CVR Equipment used: snowshoes all the way Conditions: 6-12 inches at the beginning and about 18-24 inches after 3500 feet. The snow is hard crust. I follow one snowshoes track until N. Crocker and from their the trail was very well done until CVR...

Next saturday I plan to hike that slide down from Guyot to Owls Head. Some one had the way point of the start of the slide? I think that the slide end between Guyot and STwin but I am not sure. Thanks in advance.

Neil it will be a long whacking, the first brook crossing is Franconia Brook, after you cross Lincoln Brook and about 2 miles further you cross again Lincoln brook. Last saturday the crossing went well with the boots, just a little bit of water on Lincoln brook.

9 hours for only OH, it was Pin Pin who take 9 hours for that hike, Lincoln wood-Owls Head-Bonds and return to the Pin Pin mobile...
