    What happens next?

My mistake Yes, Nov 20 sounds about right. It does feel longer than that and of course, I did not check my records before I posted. My mistake, sorry. I will be chaging my user name to adk46r (can't believe that was available). :) The NE 115 sounds like a good next target. Regards, Ravi.

    What happens next?

Deadline is 1-31-05 Bob, Thanks to Rick, I found out that the actual deadline is Jan 31, 05. So, you are still not late, you should be able to make it. Thanks for the offer to do some winter hiking, I do that every day here in Rochester. :) No thanks, I will wait for spring. ~ Ravi.

    What happens next?

 I sent in my reports for completing the 46 peaks about a couple of months ago. I haven't heard anything from my sponsor yet. What's supposed to happen now? Do they send in some forms and stuff that I need to return? Thanks.

    wannabe46r is now a 46r

Thanks Thanks all. No plans for "what's next?". Maybe help my wife become a 46r and hike parts of the Appalachian Trail (Curious after reading "A walk in the woods"). Time to send in the last few 46 reports. The reason I kept Allen to the last was because I could not find a hiking partner...

Whiteface, Cliff OR Allen on 9/14?

Such a wonderful day in the forecast, haven't had many this summer. I would like to hike on Tuesday(9/14) and possibly on Wednesday(9/15) too. I am a fast-medium pace hiker as long as I don't have a 40-lb backpack on me. If anybody would like to accompany me, post here or send a PM. Some...

    Twin Brook/Cliff Mtn Questions ...

A few questions for the expert hikers in this forum: 1. The leanto at the junction of Lower Twin brook and Upper Twin Brook that the McMartin book mentions, is that still around? If not, is it legal to camp in that area? 2. Trail #51(Upper Twin Brook) that the McMartin book talks about, from...

    Camping site near the road?

Thanks for all the replies, this helps immensely. Regarding the sites near Corey's, I was wondering what they were driving by them last August. Some of them were empty when we drove by them, buy they looked like a nice "soft landing" spot. :) Thanks guys.

    Camping site near the road?

Just wondering if there are any sites that we could camp overnight without much backpacking from the car. I am looking for info around these areas: 1. On Rte. 3 between Tupper Lake and Saranac Lake. 2. On Rte. 73 around the Keene valley area. What I have typically done is drive down all...

Katahdin Rock Slide, one dead other injured

That is sad Wow, that is sad news. Couple of friends and myself were on the same trail just a week before this (June 20). That trail was treacherous and the rocks were HUGE. Climbing the slide, I was thinking what would happen if the rocks start moving. The trail is so steep, it probably...

    Seward Range

Wardbrook LT area There are about 3 tentable areas behind Ward brook LT. If you have a larger group, it might be worth hiking the extra 1/2 mile or so to get to the twin leantos further down the road. You might be able to get more leaning space there, and the 1/2 mile is just flat road, so no...
