I,ve seen and tried many different types of snow shoes. Myself and my friends all agree. The MSR denali ascents and Evos are by far the better choice.

I dont know the demensions off hand , but i'll be sure to measure it the next time i hit the trails. I'm guessing you wish to make your own?

sounds anawful lot like the weekend me and the Slamdog spent in the sewards. Wet and cold. Luckily you didnt run in to any bees! And take it from me , a voice of experience, you dont want to come off the sewards at nite. Especially in the rain. Been there done that. Hope to never be in that...
