I figured before I get a better camera I'd learn how to improve the results I'm getting currently, post-production. Stuff like darkening the snow, brightening shadows etc. so I got Photoshop Elements and a how-to book.
But, when I start the program I get a dialog box telling me my monitor is defective and to run the calibration software. When I right click my desktop and go to the advanced properties dialog box for display everything looks OK. Going to the color management tab if I click "add" under color profile a list of about 12 different profiles (ICC profiles) pops up. What's that all about?
