Just made this with the footage from my Franconia Ridge hike 2 weeks ago. The very last segment is of Arethusa Falls from our hike the following day.

Now THAT is how to make a hiking video.
Specifically here's what I liked:
- Good choice of music....it fit the hike nicely
- Good job editing (clips were chopped to a good 5-8 second length, with smooth transitions from scene to scene)
- Nice mix of still photos and video
- Steady hand on the person with the camera (this CANNOT be stressed enough.....watch some of the sea-sickness-inducing White Mountains videos on youtube and you'll see what I mean.....c'mon people, just pretend you're balancing a cup of water on top of your video camera and your videos will improve 10x).

Nice job.

Thanks Billy! I'm new to editing so I appreciate the encouragement. I was second-guessing the pacing (thought some parts were too fast) so it's very helpful to hear the aspects you felt worked.
