what...no hiking this weekend?? I just got in from a Squam Lakes Association meeting where they are looking for trip leaders in a mini AMC style..to which i dutifully volunteered..mostly concentrared in the area but freedom was given to roam...
as to the knee grease...so far so good..dramatic difference from how i was feeling last week..man i felt so slow on Osceolas..of course the needle they come at you with looks like a turkey baster.....

hey..we are passing on anything high tomorrow except possibly a ridgepole few hours .. maybe up morgan down to cotton? or the other end..notch to morgan..then again..always chores to do..potentially cabot or kinsmans thurs maybe something high on sunday depending on the weather..I am always happy to help with equipment..after all..everyone is entitled to my opinion..he he

I'm not sure how to work these message things. The weather on Tuesday looks awful. Maybe it will be better later in the week. . . . And next week I am wide open, but, I may need some help deciding what gear is needed this time of year. . . I'm definitely a newbie in winter hiking.

yeah, I hear you..need to take care of chores etc and i am sure you will have plenty do do..certainly don't want to waste a sunny day painting inside..sunday could work..actually I think I schedules myself off incase the bonds worked so lets be in touch..I think Mary is taking bert from othh on liberty flume tomorrow to finish his second round..it is just what she does....they are talking for snowy type precip here tues as well..paint....

However I may be able to get away next Sunday

Tuesday is looking like a washout -- 80% chance of precip in the Whites -- with steady rain -- think I may better use my time here painting trim etc...

the views were so awesome..the sun so strong on mansfield..with the sun over our shoulders you were walking on your shadow alot..much the same way you were on bonds i guess..well..i stepped on shadow thinking it was a rock...turned out to be air instead ..luckily a straight down fall..no twisting..got a little jolt however and was quite sore (back/knee) tues and weds..short test hike thurs went okay and did a decent one yesterday..belvediere..no list..just a great peak..I would be more interested i think in weeks than owls..the death march at the end would kill..seriously though....plus i have it in oct...I won't be getting my 100 this year anyway as i need a bunch in maine..sandwich would be fine....

sorry but not surprised with service at costco..I made the switch to a local tire company several years ago..from the service point of view the ammount of time they save you is worth it....anyway....working on pics etc...
