agreed. When I finish the 3500, I will continue and try and get the 100. I was looking at the maps and it looks like there are some great hikes in the skills on peaks that are not 3500. I agree about the views on BP.

Is Brios in Phoenicia, same as the alamo? Last time we were there, they charged $14 for a pitcher of Yuengling. ouch. In the past, our favorite catskill beer has been capitol. From what I have read, DT is supposed to have the best view of all the trailess peaks.

Is there a view on the north peak of DT?

probably won't hurt to take crampons along. I haven't had mine on since I tried to climb Rainier in 2007, dang. It's going to be great returning to the Catskills! Woot! Thanks for all the info!

There were some free sites on 28 a few miles west of Phoenicia, near 42 maintained by the preserve. I am not sure what they are called.
