  1. CRAZY BOB

Hey you with the GPS, you missed the trail!

Great job with the trip report and photos. I find the GPS works the best when you turn it off to save battery life. At the rate you are going you should finish your winter 48 this season.:D:D
  2. CRAZY BOB

Jackson in the morn, Cannon in the afternoon

I was glad to join you on the double header and had a great time. I must be an old man because the "old Man pace" felt like a normal pace to me. It is a perfect day when you can bag a couple of peaks and get home in time to see the Pat's win for a spot in the Superbowl.:D:D

A night at the Cat House! (Garfield Shelter), Jan 7/8, 2012

Excellent trip report and I had a great time on our winter outing. For the record you were leading all day and putting the hurt on me. :D:D

    A little solitude while catching a few Z's, 06/05/2011

Excellent trip report and photos. It's too bad you missed out hiking with the crew on Saturday, but it looks like you had the same awesome views we had. Is it considered a solo hike if you hear multiple voices in your head?:D:D

Washington and Monroe - on ice please! 04/16/2011

Excellent trip report. It was great to get out after a few weeks off from hiking. Now that the hiking bug is back what is next on the agenda?:D:D

A little 3 on 3 action: she was my first presi traverse

Great job with the trip report. It was a pleasure playing cat and mouse with guys all day and let Alton know that she won the race by a good 15 minutes. I am sorry we did not properly introduce ourselves…. my name is Bob Hills (aka CrazyBob) and my hiking partners were Todd Sells & Matt Duffey...

Winds a hollarin' on Piercenhower, 03/05/11

Great photos Petch! I am glad to finally see what the hike looked like since my glasses froze up once we hit the ridge. Excellent job at getting the group to the summit. If I was leading we would have ended up at the Lake of The Clouds before I realized I missed Eisenhower.:D

Herbie Hancocks revisited for Winter, 01/22/2011

Great trip report Petch! The scary part about the couple with the sleds was it was the only gear they were carrying. If it was me I would have at least been carrying a first-aid kit. :D:D

Gettin' Isolated, the true Winter edition

Excellent trip report Petch. Isolation is on my shortlist of favorite hikes and for the last year I have been looking forward to doing this hike again. The micro-spike strap mod was a could idea and I will try it on this weekends hike if I remember to bring them.:D:D

    A couple K's on a November Spring day 11/13/10

Good job with the TR. The reason I did not take the microspikes out of my pack was that it was so warm out I thought it was August. It was a great hike and I was glad Charles & Keith (KPMMBM) could join us. :D:eek::D

    What a Crock! Crockers/Redington 10/30/2010

Excellent job with the trip report. I was very impressed with your navigational abilities and when you were leading the bushwhack I had 75% faith that you would get us to our destination and if I was leading I have a 100% faith that we would still be trying to find Reddington. :D:D

Pour Some Sugar on Me, 10/23/2010

Great trip report and photos. So, have we officially started a new list (NE67)? How about adding the Winter NH4k, winter NE67, Trailwright 72, and my honeydew list. Scratch the last one and lets just work on something I know I can finish.:D:D

More Freakin Flippin Flamingo Four K's, 10/03/10

It was a great hike on a perfect fall day. Now I am looking forward to a few more Maine hikes.:)

    Mahoosuc Madness! 09/19/2010

Great trip report ,but are we normal. I wonder what the thru-hikers thought after hearing me sing show tunes in the depths of the Mahoosuc Notch and seeing you carrying a pink flamingo named Henrietta. What happens on the trail stays on on the trail........until someone posts it on the web.:D...

In with the Pemi, Out with the Owlie, 05/23/2009

Excellent job with the trip report and I would say the best one so far. The bushwhack was fun and I was impressed with your navigational abilities with your new Global Proximity Sensor. The group had a 89% confidence level in your navigational skills at the start of the bushwhack and when you...
