I plan on hiking up Mt. Israel on Saturday. I was looking at the forest service map and it shows the road being closed. I don’t know if this is accurate base on fairly recent trail reports. Does anyone have current information on this? I don’t want to go up there for nothing. Thanks.

just my opinion, but it seems to me that one trip up to Mt. Washington on the train would cause more pollution to the environment than many many autos. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong. If it’s true, where is the outrage? Is it only because of money?🤷‍♂️
