Went to Greylock today, planning to hike ragged Mountain via the end of Thiel Road. Theil Road is blocked and posted starting at the junction with Gould Road. There is extensive site preparation work being done at the upper end of Thiel Road. There is a very large building (new Greylock Glen visitors center and/or inn?) on Gould Road right before the Glen Meadow Loop. So, any trails (official or otherwise) that are usually accessed from Theil Road have to be done from Gould Road. This adds about 1/2 to 3/4 miles each way to a hike.
