dacks or whites

getting out next week for 5 days wondering which might be less buggy the dacks or whites?
would appreciate any guidance(if possible)

It was snowing yesterday in the Adirondack High Peaks.
Just my opinion, though, the Whites have less black flies than the Adirondacks do, though.

The bugs just about carried me and Brian off Averill today in the Dax. But it's supposed to cool off again the next couple days. That might kill some off them off.

I always had the notion that they left the dacks and then hit the Whites. Wonder where that one came from?

No question, IMO the Whites really don't have a bug problem when compared to the ADK's. DEET on the other hand will allow you to hike where ever you want. Planning on being back in ADk's in early July, can't wait!!!!!
