Date of Hike: 3/22/09
Trail Conditions: Started up the new trail to South Double Top, well, packed, some bare spots, some ice, two folks wore snowshoes, one with crampons. Snow shoes worked well. Going down South and up North trail well packed lots of loose snow, crampons were the order of the day. Heading down the ski path was bear bootable.
Special Equipment Required: Snow shoes, crampons, poles. micro spikes would also work in loose snow when it was warmer.
Comments: A beautiful, blue-sky day depending on the wind, would have great sun shine, and then snow showers. Great day.
