Dry River Trail parking

I'm thinking of backpacking a loop from the Dry River trail area off US302. Where is the best overnight parking near there? I think there is a small trail head parking lot, can I park overnight there safely? Is there hiker parking at dry river campground? What about the Wiley house site?

I parked overnight at Dry River Campground (winter). There is a trail leading over to Dry River Tr.

Dry River Trail parking is roadside, I would consider that as safe as parking in lot. Never heard of cars being towed there.

Last Saturday early am (at dawn) the roadside had LOTS (at least 5 - but there's plenty of room for more) of cars from backpackers. I would still try to get all wheels off the pavement.
