Great day soaking up some vitamin D and feeding the black flies!
Edmands Path is in need of some tlc - there are a fair number of trees down across the trail. All manageable, and most could be taken out with a bow saw if you have one handy. We moved what we could, and kicked out water bars as needed.
Trail is muddy in places, and there are still a few patches of snow in the last half mile. No need for traction aids. Bug dope is another story, they're out and biting.
Note to dog owners - there's been some inconsiderate pooping by two-footed hikers near the parking lot (the 4-legged types don't tend to use charmin). You might want to keep your pup on a leash.
