Beautiful day for an easy trek up Mt. Hale via Hale Brook Trail.
River crossings very simple yet flowing nicely.
A few blow-downs, one most notably blocking off about 5 feet of the trail. Was actually able to sort of walk on the trunk and dodge the branches (as you could tell previous hikers had done)
Black flies are out! Plenty of them at the summit. Most of the snow was finally melted. Only small patches here and there. I'd recommend gaiters, that's about it.
