Here is a link to my trip report for this attempt. Let me just say that is was really friggin cold (no problem because I had the RIGHT GEAR!) and there was a lot of friggin fresh powder up high on the mountain and we fell just short of the summit.

Hey - did you see the post about Couchie this weekend?

I've never heard any of this learn and return, try and die stuff out of your mouth on a hike. All I hear is "That's why we carry friggin headlamps!" and " What time does Carl-R's stop serving?"
