Looking for some hard slide hikes that are off the established trails. I would do these in summer. One in particular that comes to mind is Lincoln's Throat. Can anyone tell me what degree of technical climbing might be required at the very top and whether it can be avoided, as I may do these solo from time to time. A search of the web revealed that at least one party was able to navigate around the upper throat w/o technical gear. I am aware of the Osceola slide and the various Webster cliff slides. While I have technical rock climbing skills, I'd prefer not to have to bring technical gear or solo. Otherwise, I am up for a challenge. Interested to see what others have done or attempted to do.
