Very sad.
WMUR had a bit more info this evening. These were all skiing related accidents, the FS employee interviewed said it was icy conditions and he witnessed several major falls. The deceased skiers companion also fell and is in serious condition. The other fall was a separate incident.
Any idea where in the ravine this occurred? Was it in Lobster Claw gully or another chute? Or on the head wall?
Conway Daily reported that they were not sure exactly where she fell from but they think somewhere from The Lip and landed on the right side floor of The Ravine. The other two rescued had been hit from falling rock and ice.
More about the fatality. My dad, formerly of NH and now a resident of PA, sent this - the victim was from Pennsylvania, so it made the news down there.
