Slippery Brook trail well packed out, Baldface Knob trail sees a huge amount of moose activity and is post-holed from that on lower part. Baldface Circle trail up South BF is a combo of ice and wind-blown snow. I used MSRs on the way up and Microspikes on the way down.
Trail between the two peaks is well-broken; a group camped in the col the night before and packed an area down well. The last bump before the North peak is very steep and there are a couple of tracks up it. I used MSRs the whole way, including on the cone of the north peak, which is wind-blown snow.
Special equipment: snowshoes and Microspikes. Full crampons would be overkill unless you're doing the ledges. I did not; I retraced my steps back to Slippery Brook trail and down.
