Date of Hike: December 9, 2007
Trail Conditions: Trail was packed out. What little water-crossings exist were easy. There were some deeper drifts once we got up near the summit (past the junction with the trail to Stairs Mtn).
Special Equipment Required: We both started out in snowshoes, but changed into Stabilicers and crampons due to not enough snow on the trail. Rocks were still showing in places and there just wasn't enough room for the snowshoes.
Comments: Beautiful day! We didn't see another soul on the trail. 20-27 degrees F throughout the hike with virtually no wind. Either this is a tough little mountain or we're eating too much holiday food.
