Two of us did this hike via Beaver Meadow. There is considerably more snow in this area than there was on Saturday. We broke trail from the road to both summits. At upper elevations there were twelve inches of new snow, often deeper from the col to both summits. The snow has not adhered to the icy rocks in steep sections making a few of them somewhat challenging. Snowshoes with aggressive crampons are necessary.
