Trail Conditions: All trails were well-packed underneath a new layer of a couple of inches of snow. There is still lots of exposed rock above treeline, but down low the trails are smooth and nice. A knotted rope is still in place on the first difficult section of the Lion Head steeps. Lots of folks headed up Tucks to ski the Sherbie. Went myself last week and while cover was thin (then), what was there was great and the run ski-able and fun. Still snowing when I left this afternoon so it should get better and better.

Special Equipment Used: We brought trekking poles, ice axes, and crampons. We used it all. Snowshoes were not really needed, though they could be used.

Comments: Hiked this one as lead for my work. Great group, fun times... even though we didn't summit; the snow and wind (blowing 80-85 at Lion Head) made it an interesting and exciting day all the same.
