Planning a canoe trip to Stillwater in early May and was wondering if anyone had some insights into good camping spots, fishing spots, or any other general knowledge that would be useful. Thanks!

Has anyone been up to Black Mountain Cabin lately? If so, can you give me an idea of trail conditions up to the cabin? What about the status of the water source? We're heading up next weekend and plan on pulling a sled up with some provisions, but I have a feeling it might be a little crusty...
