Thanks guys. I think I'll do the Dix Range first, then save Allen for last. When the time comes, maybe I'll ask for some tips.

Hi. I have the 4 in the Dix Range. I did Dix already. And I have Allen.

I did Santanoni, Panther, and Couchsacraga yesterday. First time in that area. I wasn't expecting a fun time. The weather forecast said it was going to be sunny. It appeared that way in the morning. However the tops of Santanoni and Panther were still in the fog for quite some time...

So I went from the Mt. Seward trailhead off Corey's Road. The trail is generally level all the way up to the start of the herd path. That being said, it's still a mud festival in a lot of spots until the last .8 miles until the Ward Brook lean-to, where the trail is wide, and smooth walking...

Okay I found out what happened to the tower. I'll put the pictures in a thread that was started on what happened to the tower. Case closed I guess for me.

So I went and hiked up Bigelow Mountain. I took the Firewarden's trail up to the col, and went up Avery Peak first. The firetower was destroyed. It was hit by lightning? There was blown out glass and boards everywhere. It must have been recent? Looks like a bomb hit it. Curious as to know what...

Hey. It was good hiking with yous. I went on to Hunter afterwards. Took some photos, lingered around, and made it back to the trailhead around 14:45. Hope we can meet up again some time.

Well I finally got around to Iroquois. I went over Algonquin to get there from the Loj. I returned the same way.
