    Scale recommendations

Any recommendations for a handheld type scale to weigh my pack and contents? I'd like a scale that I can hold or hang from a hook or tree branch that weighs up to 30 lbs + and has oz. measurements to compare light weight items. Mechanical preferred. Thx.

Planning a 31 mi. hike thru the Mahoosucs next week. I'm thinking knee pads might come in handy, especially in the Notch itself. I'm guessing I'll be doing some crawling. Any recommendations?

    Hillsound Trail Crampon 19 MBT

April 10 I lost a crampon and a good samaritan hauled it down to the trailhead and hung it on the kiosk for parking. If it's still there, I'll swing by to get it. Has anyone noticed it at the trailhead? I'll be driving up this Friday, so I've some time for a reply. Thanks.

    Anemometer

Gusty winds on Lion's Head started me thinking about carrying an inexpensive, handheld, pocketsized anemometer. I was surprised the outdoor stores like EMS didn't carry them. Amazon has several, but the reviews are mixed. Has anyone used one?
