Trail Conditions:
Many thanks to Matt C & Jeremy D who had broken trail a couple of days earlier with a special thanks to the AMC Group from MA (10) that joined our party of 3 (The Great Pumpkin, Ironman & myself) that thoroughly pounded the Blueberry Ridge Tr. into a highway from bottom to top. We put snowshoes on at the trail head & found them extremely helpful all the way to the top & back down. The cliffs were challenging, especially when all 13 of us hit them at the same time but assistance was given to all & they were negotiated with reasonable effort. Winds were blowing on top (est. 20-25 mph). Moose tracks abound but no sightings.

Equipment:
Snowshoes & poles. Crampons may have been more useful thru the ledges/cliffs than the snowshoes but with all the people helping, we left them on our packs.

Additional Info:
Our initial plans were to bag Passaconaway as well. The Rollins trail over to Passaconaway looks like it is consolidated under the snow but it will take someone with younger legs than ours to bash a trail thru the snow over to the peak. See "Trail Report" for The Great Pumpkin for additional insights. #31 for winter for me.
