Dial Nipple Top Loop through Elk Pass Ice Conditions

My son and I are planning on hiking the entire loop over Bear Den, Dial and Nipple Top back through Elk Pass. We will be hiking on 1/18/04. Before the thaw I was sure we could do it without crampons, but now I’m concerned. Does anyone know if we’ll need crampons for the loop? Has anyone done the peaks since 1/5/04? Thanks!
