Not a lot of "Non-4 Thousand Footer" Trail Conditions have been posted lately so we'll be posting more of those
>> for a change of pace
Trail Conditions:
Trail was fully packed down some slick/icy areas under the snow
A few dry leaves & exposed areas down @ the lower levels
Higher elevation had some ice-flow areas
easily passable with traction.
Special Equipment:
I used snowshoes up & back~~ my choice
Microspikes were used by Bruin with no postholing at all
Either worked well
What ever your choice is, you definately need
some sort of Traction
East ledges were exposed enough to sit & enjoy our lunch &
the great views before heading back to our townhouse for the Super Bowl!
