Conditions - Numerous blowdowns, all but one easy to cross or go under without getting on knees. No stream crossings. Mostly snow free to ladders, above ladders deeper and deeper snow. Usually badly postholed, sometimes rotten snow. Trail below snow level nice and dry.
Equipment - used micros on middle ladders due to ice at the bases. Upper set of ladders all dry. Used snow shoes above ladders to make travel on postholed monorail easier. I changed to bareboots for a few bare spots on ascent but only once on descent, choosing to wear on snowshoes on bare ground. I went slower than normal due to the snow conditions.
