GPS navigation Q: state plane origins?

Hmm, maybe someone here knows this: how do I translate UTM coordinates from "NH State Plane" to the standard UTM coords that my Garmin GPS can find? (e.g. where is the NH state plane origin?) Can't seem to find this info on the web.
