Trail taken: Gorge Brook Trail (for the ascent and descent)

The trail was in good shape, we had never visited this mountain before so it was great to get out and do something we hadn't done before. We saw almost nobody on the way to the top, but saw several people on the top and on the way down. There were a few very dark clouds overhead, which looked like rain, but we never saw/felt any come through. The wind at the top was very strong, and made my eyes water! It was a great trail and the views were very nice, although I would like to see them in the bright blue sky vs. the clouds that were hanging around. The brook was running pretty strong and the bugs were almost non-existent. It was a three hour drive one way just to get to the mountain, so it has taken us awhile to get out to that area. All in all it was a wonderful day!
