Mts. Lafayette & Lincoln via Old Bridle Path, Greenleaf Tr., and Franconia Ridge Tr.
Date of Hike: 5/12/13
Trail Conditions: The trail was a mix of dry trail, and wet trail (due to rain and snow melt). There are still sections of monorail snow and ice, but they won't be there for much longer. The upper .3 mi. of Old Bridle Path (leading up to the hut) had some ice and snow... but you could avoid it by hopping the rocks poking up through the snow/ice. From the hut, there are sections of icy monorail in the woods, but from treeline up to the ridge is all melted.
Special Equipment Required: You could bring light traction, but you can easily rock hop the sections still containing monorail.
Comments: We elected to not descend via Falling Waters due to all the rain the day prior.
