Long Trail from Smuggler's Notch to the Lamoille River is in good shape. A few blowdowns from Whiteface Mtn to West Settlement Rd. Also, a VAST snowmobile bridge is unusable about a mile up from the iron gate on West Settlement Rd.
The suspension bridge over the Lamoille is in good shape, but the south (overflow) channel is full, so onme has to use the highwater bypass along VT 15 and Hogback Rd.
Perfect weather - sunny, temperature in the 60s. Twelve hikers - mostly end-to-enders seen. Seven hours (with day packs).
