We were fishing from a canoe in the 100 Mile a few weeks back when a mom and baby popped out of the woods right next to us.

Many years ago, I was driving down the Tote Road when a cow and two calves popped out of the woods and started running down the road ahead of my car. To my amusement, the calves' legs seemed to be flying in all directions, and I couldn't figure out how they were propelling themselves forward.
