The trailhead has been relocated about .2 miles south. There is a small parking lot now just before the tennis camp. The trail is ice free for the first 2/3rds. After that it is solid ice. Wore Hillsounds with no issues. Hopefully the snow this week will cover up the ice. Not a good place for a fall. The summit was perfect with light winds and mild temps. Stopped at Bald Peak on the way out. There is no sign but the junction is at the 1.6 mile sign for Kinsman Ridge Trail. Very nice spot. Saw one other hiker with her dog just below the ice flows. She was headed up and I was heading down. Hope she made it ok. She did not have any microspikes with her. I would not recommend that. Follow the link below for pictures.
