Trail clear, well-blazed, dryer than expected.
No special equipment needed. Poles helpful - this is almost as steep as Mahoosuc Arm on the other side. Didn't use (and didn't need) DEET.
Saw 12 dayhikers, one Grafton Loop overnight hiker, one dog. Took 4:20 for two of us in our 60s to hike to top and return - rain was threatened for this afternoon, but we didn't get wet. No VFTT today.
