Trail Conditions: Wilderness trail had one set of tracks on it from a hiker who started out before us. He followed a faint track most of the time for the Black Pond bushwhack. About 1 foot of new poweder through there and the first part of the Lincoln Brook trail. Snow depth increased the further we went. Previous hiker turned back when he couldn't find any signs of the Brutus whack, then joined us. Started the whack about 150 yards past the last crossing - short steep ascent to the skidder road - snow depth well over our knees. No signs of previous traffic. At end of skidder road started up putting in lots of switchbacks.

Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes all day!

Ended up with 9 in our group, 4 others came behind us so the trail is well stomped out at the moment. No wind today! 5 of the group bagged the peak for the first time in Winter!
